Instagram arrives on Android, finally!

Instagram now available on Android (Photo:Droid-Life)

The wait is over!

Popular iPhone app Instagram is no longer just for the iOS, its now available for Android devices as well. The app was launched in 2010 and has seen huge success since then. Google has a reason to cheer and so does the Android users. Now none of your iPhone friends can mock you or make fun of you, cuz you’ve got Instagram. It basically helps you edit your photos, add filters and share them with everyone. Photos are saved on the Instagram network also and can also be shared on other social networks like Pinterest, Facebook and Twitter. Now we all know that there are a thousand apps that do the same but for some reason, Instagram has been people’s choice. You don’t have to worry with Instagram, it already has 30 million plus registered users. We have some stats from the app’s website

  • 430K+ on Android Waiting List
  • 30 million+ Registered Users
  • 1 billion+ Photos Uploaded
  • 5 million+ Photos Per Day
  • 575 Likes Per Second
  • 81 Comments Per Second

Get it on your Android: Install it!

This is not a sure thing as in point 8, i explained how people are abandoning Instagram already because of Points 6 and 7. So these are all that i can think of and now i am writing another article on “Why did Facebook buy Instagram“? Head over to iDigiD homepage and you might see it. I will link to it when it’s published. Related: Facebook buys Instagram for a billion dollars, World reacts Instagram arrives on Android, 1 million times downloaded in 24 hours […]
