Apple building a $304 million campus in Texas, adding 3,600 jobs

Apple, the giant in almost everything is expanding in Texas with a campus of $304 million in Austin where they will add 3600 jobs over the next decade. Currently Apple employs thousands in Austin who job is to handle customer complaints and provide support. Steve Dowling an Apple Spokesperson said ‘Our operations in Austin has grown dramatically over the past decade from less than 1000 in 2004 to more than 3500 today. Apple has also planned to open new stores in Europe as reported earlier and now its opening a new campus with jobs in Customer support, Sales and Accounting. The company is receiving an investment of $21 million over 10 years from a state fund and also possible incentives from Austin and Travis county.
