Prepare for Ads on Facebook Mobile as it grows to 432 million users

Facebook has reported a growth in Mobile users with 432 million people now using the service. When Facebook first filed for IPO they mentioned a user base of 425 million on Mobile but now an updated filing from the company states a growth of 8 million more mobile users. It also said that 58 million users log in from a tablet or mobile phone. This a growth of 76% from the end 2010 when facebook had 245 mobile monthly users. In the initial filing it also stated that it might start advertising on mobile and now that Zynga is moving away from Facebook to start a dedicated portal of social online games, facebook might have to take this step of advertising for mobile users because Zynga accounted for 12% of overall Facebook revenues. This might affect your experience in browsing facebook but not in a negative way or a very positive way either as you will see ads on login and logout screen plus on images. In April of 2011 Facebook acquired Snaptu, and in October they launched the app for iPad.

Facebook might show ads on Mobile devices soon
