Google+ is dying with users spending 3 to 4 minutes a month

Google+ Users Spent Just 3.3 Minutes There Last Month (Photo: GooglePlusit.com)

According to a new comScore report, users spent 3.3 minutes on Google+ in January compared to 7.5 hours on Facebook. In December, users spent 4.8 minutes on Google+ and 5.1 minutes in November. The usage statistics is going downwards. No reps from Google could be reached for comments on this but in a call with analysts last month, Google CEO Larry Page said Google+ had 90 million users compared to 40 million in October. Even after integrating Google+ with their search, the company has failed to lure customers or bring them back again and again. I personally almost never +1 a search result but i do it for some articles and blogs. You must also know that 13.69% of Google Plus users are from India but fairly because the company kind of ‘forced’ everyone to open a plus account with the top navigational bar and stuff. Its really hard to ignore. So the stats for Google+ usage are

  • January: 3.3 minutes spent by users in the whole month
  • December: 4.8 minutes spent by users in the whole month
  • November: 5.1 minutes spent by users in the whole month
