This is Proview’s iPad, This is what Apple is competing with

So a few days ago i read it in an article that Proview International Holdings Ltd. is suing Apple for a trademark violation. I was like, woah, Apple is getting ‘sued’, i mean they are meant to ‘sue’ but whatever, Proview has alleged that Apple had used a fake company to buy the rights to the iPad name for just $55,000 in 2009. It was being reported that officials in China are removing Apple iPads from shelves and stores from being sold. Proview is not lying, they actually have an iPad which they call the “Internet Personal Access Device”. After Proview won cases in various Chinese courts this year, it has resulted in the iPad being removed from the shelves in several Chinese cities. Proview has even threatened to take the fight to Apples’s back yard with the U.S. legal system.

A representative from Proview has been quoted saying,

“I think in the future we will sue Apple in the U.S. We are looking to choose between three different U.S. law firms.”

I don’t know how big Proview is but Apple is gigantic with over $100 Billion in cash. Cash! Anyways, Apple sued Proview in 2010 and tried to take the rights of the name ‘iPad’ and the court ruled in Apple’s favor. So, below is Proview’s iPad
