Microsoft Store India hacked, credentials leaked

Microsoft’s online store in India has been hacked. The site is now offline, but according to The Verge, Google’s cache shows that the Chinese Evil Shadow Team is taking credit for the hack. Not only the site has been taken down, username and passwords have been released and unfortunately passwords were saved in plain text on the site. If you have a Microsoft Store India account, it is advised that you change your password now. As you can see in the image it has been hacked by EvilShadow team – 7z1&Ancker. From the tiny little flag and blog links, it looks like the hackers are from China. Their motivation is unknown at this point.
