Microsoft removed Start button from Windows 8

I just read it on CNET that Microsoft has removed the Start button from Windows 8. Start button has been a part of Microsoft’s OS since Inception but not anymore. I don’t know whether this is a good move by the company or not but i am a little sad over this because i liked the Start button. It helps me get things done easily and fast.
